Flexible Reporting
Cabinet Maker gives you the tools to accurately generate reports for any project. Take advantage of built-in reports such as subassembly parts lists, product details, door and drawer lists, master takeoff, edge banding, and buyout items reports or build your own custom reports with the easy-to-use Report Designer. With Microvellum’s Report Designer you have the flexibility to create an unlimited number of unique reports and labels designed for your specific needs.

One-Button 2D Shop Drawings
Generate live 2D shop drawings that contain all the information needed for manufacturing such as g-code, reporting information, and instant cutlists right from the 3D drawing… with one simple button. This Quick-Draw 2D technology enables you to create detailed shop drawings from your 3D rooms and automatically elevate your walls, calculate dimensions, and assigns product details.

Use built-in 2D drawing tools to add even more details – hatching, text, blocks, and commonly used drawing commands.

Presentation Drawings
Show customers exactly what their design will look like before producing their product. Open doors and drawers and other moving components to verify tolerances and show your clients exactly what they are purchasing. Exploded assembly views allow for visualization of each part from any view. Label each part in this exploded view and print out drawings for assembly. Presentation Drawings

Direct Machine Link Technology
CabinetMaker offers a fully integrated solution for direct machine specific g-code generation for virtually any CNC machine. This Direct Machine Link Technology enables Microvellum to post to your single CNC or multiple machines all at the same time – no additional processing or software needed.

Nested Based Manufacturing
Nested Based Manufacturing (NBM) is a concept where multiple components are cut out of a single sheet of material on a CNC router. CabinetMaker offers exceptional small part handling and automatically onion skins small parts, allowing for maximum vacuum pressure.

Create nests from single parts, individual products, groups of products, entire jobs or even batch multiple jobs together.

Microvellum’s Common Line Cutting technology increases your machines productivity by optimizing the tool paths to find the fastest route – often cutting two edges of unique parts at the same time. This allows you to decrease your machine cycle time up to 40% and increase your tool file by up to 70%.
